Britney Spears, to South America! In what was quite the welcome news to many of her worldwide fans, Britney Spears has announced plans to take her Femme Fatale tour to South America.





The "Hold It Against Me" singer released a YouTube video in which she revealed plans to perform at Rio de Janiero's Apoteose on November 15 and Sao Paolo's Anhembi Arena on November 18.

Adding that ten more shows will be tacked on at a later date, Spears also has announced that "Jersey Shore" star Pauly D will open for her during her August shows in the States. Aside from her Femme Fatale efforts, Britney recently voiced her joy over being nominated for two trophies at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards - as she's up for Best Pop Video and Best Choreography.

Of the VMA bids, the 29-year-old singer said, "Oh my goodness, I'm completely flattered. That is amazing! Thank you so much for telling me. That's awesome!" She added, "I grew up listening to MTV. It's just such an iconic thing to be able to participate in. To even be presented an award is just so flattering and I'm honored. I'm excited.
